THE CONNAUGHT CLUB’S 300 BALL
What: An evening of drinks, dancing and canapés to celebrate 300 years of Grand Lodge
When: Saturday the 15th July 2017
Who: Everyone!
Dress Code: Black tie and ball gowns
Many members of the Connaught Club were upset not to get tickets to the Grand Lodge’s Grand Ball, celebrating the tercentenary of organised Freemasonry. Well, to remedy this, the Club is hosting a grand ball of its own on Saturday the 15th of July 2017 in the Long Room of the Honourable Artillery Company.
The evening will comprise of dancing to the swinging sounds of the Denmark Street Big Band; a magician and a silhouette artist working the tables; a DJ until late into the evening; and canapés and and a selection of free beer & wine, with a reasonably-priced cash bar afterwards (cards accepted).
The event is open to friends, family, and other guests - the more the merrier!
On the evening the Club will also be raising money towards the Bros for Jo's Appeal and we ask that everyone donates a small fraction of their ticket cost to our charity of this year - Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust.
Jo’s Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting women affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. The work of Jo’s Trust has many parallels with Freemasonry in that it provides a support mechanism for woman (and families) who have been effected by cervical cancer.
N.B. Refunds will not be accepted - ordinarilly - after 30 Jun 17.
